History

EVA Screens History and Timeline
EVA finds its early roots in 1968
when a Belgian engineer André Verbandt designed and developed a preliminary type of the EVA Back Raked Screen.

In 2001 the former Belgian company expatriated part of its activities and started commercial operations out of Hong Kong. The entire production line stayed in Belgium.
Dedicated to excellence in service from the beginning
Over the years the EVA screen has been redesigned, modified and fine-tuned to a heavy duty coarse screen, with the special features of a back raked system.
Today, some 350 units have been installed world-wide,
at water intakes, in power stations, municipal water treatment facilities, rivers, canals, harbours, docks and lakes, wherever important amounts of floatsam i.e. weeds, debris and waste, compose a considerable threat to pumps and down-stream installations.
